Serapis (Σ?ραπι?, Attic/Ionian Greek) or Sarapis (Σ?ραπι?, Dorian Greek) is a Graeco-Egyptian god. Serapis was devised during the 3rd century BC on the orders of Ptolemy I of Egypt"Sarapis"in The New Encyclopaedia Britannica.
